Actress Asin was recently in Chennai to launch the commercials for Miranda. The new commercials featuring Asin would be launched across the country in a week. The new advertisements will be on air for six-eight weeks. The actress, who is the brand ambassador for the soft drink, also campaigned for the film Dasavatharam which is set to hit theatres soon. Asin is glowing whenever she gets an opportunity to speak about actor Kamal Hassan and Dasavatharam. She says it will be a landmark in her career.

Asin further adds that Kamal Hassan taught her many things on the sets of Dasavatharam and that he is a really a genius and a gem of Indian cinema. Though Asin is getting offers from Hindi industry, she loves to act in southern languages since it is her place and she got her first recognition here.
