Director Selvaraghavan movies from the beginning of his career he opts Yuvan as his first choice due to some conflict they split up. As Selva’s successful movies there will be these special personalities Music Director Yuvan Shankar Raja and Cinematographer but after their split up Selvaraghavan go for G.V.Prakash for his forthcoming flick “Aayirathil Oruvan” starring Paruthiveeran Karthi, Parthiban, Reema Sen and Andrea in lead roles.
Now for his next project which featuring new faces in the lead and A R Rahman have signed to music for the film. It will be a newer experience for the Director while composing music for his film with A R Rahman.

Sarath Kumar’s next movie Jaggubhai in Bangkok
Sarath Kumar’s next movie Jaggubhai has started rolling in Bangkok without much fanfare and will continue shooting for the next couple of months. Sarath will be shuttling between Chennai and Bangkok to manage his movie and political engagements.
The film would portray Sarath Kumar in two get-ups. One as a young man and the other as the father of a teenage daughter. The daughter’s role will be played by Shriya Saran.
The movie will be directed by K.S Ravikumar. It can be recalled that the film Cheran Pandiyan directed by K.S Ravikumar was his first hit and also was Sarath Kumar’s first film as hero. The Sarath-Ravi Kumar pair has also given the super blockbuster Nattami. Lets hope they repeat the success story in this movie too.

Actress Asin`s maid clears doubts
Asin’s maid, who was alleged to have been kept under illegal detention by the star in Mumbai, appeared before the Chennai police on Saturday and said that she was working with Asin voluntarily.
Asin was caught in this drama when her maid’s family apparently filed a case that their daughter Bula, has been “kidnapped, kept against her will at the actress residence in Mumbai, is abused and now missing”. Based on the complaint, the police had launched investigations and also decided to question Asin.
However, on Saturday Beaulah told the police that she had been working with the star since 2003 and had voluntary left for Mumbai to be with her. “I was not kidnapped or detained illegally by Asin or her associates. I was working with Asin both as a maid and makeup artiste since she made her debut in cinema five years ago. A few months ago, I voluntarily went with Asin to Mumbai, where she is shooting for a film,” Bulah told the police.
The reason, Beaulah gave for not picking calls from her mother was that her mother was troubling her for more and more money. Following this, chennai police have decided to close the case.

Priyanka and John are reel couple
The shooting of Karan Johar's next production Dostana directed by Tarun Mansukhani and starring John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan is now complete, save for a song.
Tarun's baby Karan says, "Dostana is Tarun's baby. He and the entire crew handled everything so superbly that I was worried. As a producer I was there in Miami for the first schedule for only two weeks. I was an unemployed producer.
Dostana was the title of my dad's (Yash Johar) first film and besides a sense of nostalgia meets emotion, my film and the 1980 Dostana have nothing in common. My Dostana is a love story with a fun twist." The film ended on schedule and now only an item number needs to be picturized on John, Priyanka and Abhishek which we will shoot in September when Abhishek comes back from his world tour.
Do ka dhamaalDirector Tarun says, "Dostana is about three friends. It's a cool, fun film which has emotional ups and downs. The trio play pranks and have fun together like all friends do.
It was great fun working with all of them. I thought Abhishek, Priyanka and John would give me attitude being big stars; but they behaved like newcomers and said okay for everything. We finished shooting within 75 days. It's a romantic comedy. Abhishek and John have an amazing chemistry and they come across more as a couple than anybody else."

Kuthu song in Pollachi for Vijay`s Villu
The Vijay- Nayanthara action entertainer Villu, directed by Prabhu Deva is making brisk progress. Last week, during the nights, action scenes were canned for the film in and arond the busy streets of Chennai.
The film has some awesome action scenes which are very crucial to the story. After completing the Chennai schedule, the unit has now left for Pollachi to shoot a song for the film.
According to sources in the industry, Prabhu Deva wants to shoot the ultimate Kuthu song for the film. Remember some of the most popular Kuthu numbers in Tamil cinema have featured our Ilayathalapathy. One of the major highlights of Vijay- Prabhu Deva’s earlier Pokkiri was the songs and its picturisation. Who can forget the chartbusting kuthu number Mambazham ma…?

global artistes to produce a likely commercial winner
Will wonders ever cease? When the title track of a Hindi soundtrack starts with that trademark baritone voice, speech-rapping the words, "Yo waddup this is big Snoop Dogg, represent that poonjabi", the rapid globalisation of Bollywood hits you like a ton of bricks.
SIK (true abbreviation; no pun intended) is the most unlikely-sounding film that could potentially feature a bevy of international artistes. Yet the album is on hyperdrive when it comes to musical name-dropping, ranging from Rahat and Daler to Hard Kaur and RDB, and headlined by the Bollywood debut of American rapster, Snoop Dogg, whose appearance on the title track is short, subdued and surprisingly PG-13 - probably his first track in recent years, sans censor bleeps.
Hard Kaur kicks off the laid-back hip/hop groove of the now-familiar "Bas Ek Kinng", supported by Mika and Neeraj Shridhar dual-voicing the second title track, which is as much fun as the first. The Tigerstyle mix of this track is uptempo, and gets you moving from the get go.
And what hearty Punjabi album would be complete without Monsieur Mehndi "chak de phatte"-ing his way into the forefront. Daler rocks his vocals on a highly unconventional and extreme ‘frontbencher' track entitled "Bhootni Ke". Yes, you read it right. Bhootni Ke. Need I say more?
The relief ‘falling in love' track, "Teri Ore", is a lukewarm duet with the complementing vocals of syrupy Shreya Ghoshal and coarse Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. "Ore" is refined and much edgier in its lounge version. The clear disappointments are Neeraj Shridhar's "Talli Hua" and Labh Janjua's "Jee Karda", which are passable, but highly hackneyed.
Balance sheet: Although a title like "Singh is Kinng" would raise expectations of a "straight from the pind"-flavoured album, SIK is diversely peppered with a variety of musical influences, ranging from hip/hop to gangster rap, to steer it clear from being a stereotypical "bhangra" album. Continuing his triumphant streak, it looks like Pritam has another commercial winner on his hands, which could have him and his global collaborators raising a defiant fist to their competitors, going "Kiddan?".

Love Story 2050. “We’re planning a world premiere in London
Rather than take on Aamir Khan and his nephew Imran's no-holds-barred launch pad Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na headlong, the Bawejas have decided to do away with their Mumbai premiere for the magnum opus, Love Story 2050.
Although producer-director Harry Baweja says a Mumbai premiere was never planned, a source close to the film says, “The sudden decision for the people behind Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na to have a premiere came as a bolt from the blue to the Bawejas.
They didn’t want to embarrass or inconvenience their guests by forcing them to make a choice between the two films or rushing between the two venues.
They thought that it was better to move away completely.”
Harry Baweja confirms there would be no Mumbai premiere for Love Story 2050. “We’re planning a world premiere in London and perhaps in Dubai. In Mumbai we’re spending Rs 25 lakh per day on television publicity alone. Harman better deliver,” Harry laughs and says.
He adds, “The film needs no further promotion in Mumbai or in the other metros. I’m in two minds about Dubai. But yes, a London premiere is confirmed. What do we have a Mumbai premiere for? To invite our friends to watch the film? We can do that without a premiere.
I’ve seen films with the most lavish premieres in Mumbai bombing on Friday. On the other hand, Guru had a premiere in Toronto and Om Shanti Om in London. Did audiences in Mumbai reject these films because there was no Mumbai premiere?”
He goes on to explain further. “This is a strange industry. There're no permanent friendships or enmities here. A director who was slapped by hero is now working with him again. I actually wanted a premiere in Toronto, Dubai and London.
London is a huge market and an opening for the entire overseas sector. Premieres in Mumbai I feel are publicity stunts that can easily backfire. So, no thanks,” says Harry.
