Villu, Prabhu Deva’s next directorial venture (with Vijay and Nayantara paired together for the first time) is readying for release on January 12th. Meantime, Prabhu Deva, who spoke to a select gathering of the media, revealed a little bit about what Vijay fans can expect from the film.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad being the music composer and Prabhu Deva being one of the lyrics writers (albeit unknowingly), Villu is all about non-stop entertainment. The first half is full of fun and frolic, with Vadivelu and Vijay raising a lot of belly laughs; the second half is very racy and styled along the lines of a James Bond film.
Prabhu Deva said five dance choreographers who had been his students have worked on the film, so audiences can expect quite a storm onscreen! At the same meet, Vijay stated he wished to watch the film in a regular theatre surrounded by his fans and that care has been taken to give audiences, especially his fans, the maximum entertainment that can be loaded into two and a half hours.Pokkiri, which was Prabhu Deva’s directorial debut in Tamil, starred Vijay and Asin. The Prabhu Deva-Vijay team is considered lucky ever since Pokkiri became a mega-hit running for over 150 days in Tamil Nadu and elsewhere.

Siddique said comedy is the back bone for a good script. He is currently directing a Malayalam film Body Guard in which Dilip is doing the lead role. After this he will be directing Vijay’s 50th film. With regard to this he said,” I met Vijay three months ago. Talks began about me directing his film at that time.
Currently I am directing the Dilip starrer Body Guard. The shooting of this film will commence next month. This film will be released on March. After this I will be directing Vijay. This could be the remake of the film Body Guard. Dilip is donning the role of a body guard of a big wig in this film. This film is an action oriented film with larger doses of comedy. Comedy is an essential element in my films. Comedy is strength to good scripts.”

Aishwarya doubts Dhanush-Thamannah
There are times when actors’ wives accompany them while filming in foreign locations. First it was Vijay who after being prone into rumors about his linking with Trisha had his wife Sangeetha accompanying for all shoots. Pretty similar, Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya strides on same epitomes. Busy amidst of shooting schedules for Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan (She works as assistant director), she drops them and fleets along with her husband to Swiss Alphs… You know why? The guy has beautiful girl Thamannah travelling too for shooting of couple of songs. The film ‘Padikaadahvan’ directed by Suraaj has been completed other than couple of songs. Actor Jai Hospital for Accident at Shooting Spot
Actor Jai who appeared for the first time in Vijay’s “Bhagavathi” movie then appeared in the screen after a longtime in Chennai 600028 movie. After his impressive performance in “Subramaniapuram” he is flooded with offers and almost four movies with his hands which include Adhe Neram Adhe Idam and Aval Peyar Thamizharasi.
Actor Jai had been busy in filming the movie “Adhe Neram Adhe Idam” for a stunt sequence which was choreographed under the supervision of Super Subbarayan’s son Dilip. Unluckily the actor met with an accident during the sets while filming the stunt sequence and suffered fracture in his leg. Soon he was taken to private hospital he was given treatment by the doctors.

Vijay to get a right pair for him!
Our Vambhu hero Sibhu suffers many a times not able to get a right pair for him for his never to be released movies, and the reason is his Vambhu, but why do Vijay not able to get a pair for him?
AVM is producing a movie under the title Vettaikaaran, having Vijay in the lead role. The agreement for this movie was signed long time before. Initially the movie was titled as Murattu KaaLai, but now it will have the title of MGR's super hit.
Asin is doing all posible tricks to re-enter Kollywood through this movie. Iliaana has appointed a manager exclusively to finish this deal. Even though there is hectic competition among girls, here seems to have araised a resonance effect and Vijay is not able to finalize his pair.
As Vijay delays his decision, these females in an idea to show their Bandha, now sends message to Vijay that they are busy in other ventures and hence they can't pair with him for now. Vijay is now confused and still searching for one!

Vijay wants Asin in the lead but Asin bagged more number of Hindi films and asked Vijay to wait for but it’s not possible from producer’s side. Actress Asin has no plans in Kollywood
With the recent stories published about Asin pairing up with Vijay in his next film to be produced by AVM, she has answered to the situation. Asin has said that this is nothing but the rumors for she has no ideas about taking Tamil projects at the moment. At present, busy shooting for Vipul Shah's London Dreams starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devagan in lead roles, Asin would be getting ready for the promos of Ghajni that would commence in the month of October. Also she has been roped in for pairing up with Kamal Haasan for the Hollywood flick titled '19 Steps' to be produced and directed by Bharath Bala. Apart from this, talks are now going on with a leading director for another big project that will the shooting hitting the floors in February 2009. So, busy in her Bollywood action, Asin has confirmed that she wouldn't be signing up with any Tamil movies for next two years.

Kuthu song in Pollachi for Vijay`s Villu
The Vijay- Nayanthara action entertainer Villu, directed by Prabhu Deva is making brisk progress. Last week, during the nights, action scenes were canned for the film in and arond the busy streets of Chennai.
The film has some awesome action scenes which are very crucial to the story. After completing the Chennai schedule, the unit has now left for Pollachi to shoot a song for the film.
According to sources in the industry, Prabhu Deva wants to shoot the ultimate Kuthu song for the film. As we all know that Vijay is busy shooting for the film “Villu”. The Director, Choreographer Cum Actor Prabhu Deva is directing the film. Kuruvi song CD’s have been selling like hot cakes, yet trouble seems to have followed Kuruvi Songs. The song ‘Mazha Mozhannu’ from the song is the center of controvery and the problem is all struck in lines of the song. The lines goes as “Thillaiaadi Valliamma, Dhill irrunda vaadi yemma” and this has ruffled the feathers of moral police as Thillaiyadi Valliamma is the name of a freedom fighter.
Thillaiaadi Valliammai was a South African Tamil woman who worked with Mahatma Gandhi in South Africa fighting its apartheid regime. Valliammai joined Gandhi’s movement at the age of 16. Valliammai took part in Gandhi’s fight for abolition of the Indian Poll Tax. Thillaiaadi Valliammai Memorial Hall was established by the Indian Government in the village of Thillaiaadi in Nagapattinam, India in 1971.
Following this Pa Vijay, the lyricist, according to chennai365 sources has come forward to apologize for hurting any sentiments and has said that the name rhymed with the song and he did not know the significance of the name when he used in his song. He has also assured that the name Thillaiaadi Valliamma will be removed from the song henceforth. The song has been sung by Kay Kay and Anuradha Sriram and is a racy number to suit Vijay’s style.
